What is Fujieda City Tourist Information Center?

Fujieda City has a population of about 150,000, but there are two tourist information centers. One is the “Fujieda City Tourist Information Center,” which we will introduce hereafter.
The other is the “Fujieda City Okabe Information Center” located in the former Okabe Town.

Okabe-cho merged with Fujieda City in 2009 and is now called “Okabe-cho, Fujieda City. Okabe Town prospered as a post town on the Tokaido Highway, and the Okabe-juku Grand Lodging House Kashiwaya is still there today. For more information, please refer to the following article.

The Fujieda Tourist Information Center is located right outside the north exit of Fujieda Station. It provides not only tourist information, but also information on accommodations, events held in the city, and sales of local products (agricultural products, confectioneries, foods, and locally brewed sake).
It is definitely a good place to buy souvenirs!

Inside Fujieda City Tourist Information Center

Inside the information center, local products (agricultural products, confectionery, foodstuffs, local sake) are displayed in various places. From sweets to agricultural products to sake and more.

rent-a-cycle

This tourist information center rents out electric bicycles to visitors and business travelers to Fujieda.

Bicycles can be rented from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
600 yen / day (1,100 yen will be charged at the time of rental and 500 yen will be refunded upon return)
If you are thinking of renting a bike, please ask the staff at the Tourist Information Center.
