Airport Information

Shizuoka Airport seems to be a very user-friendly airport that has everything you need in a small and compact space.
The author sometimes flies to Narita Airport, but it is too large and difficult to find, and I always get tired before boarding the plane💦.

On the other hand, Shizuoka Airport has only one terminal, so it is very easy to get lost!

Boarding and departure gates

At Shizuoka Airport, boarding procedures for both international and domestic flights are on the 1st floor, and departure gates are on the 2nd floor.
Arrivals for both international and domestic flights are on the first floor.

Restaurant

The food court is located on the second floor of the terminal building. It’s a compact food court.

The exchange counter is right in front of you as you exit the international arrivals gate.

Shizuoka Airport⇄Fujieda Station

There is a direct bus service between Fujieda Station and Shizuoka Airport, so it is recommended to use that service.
Both from Fujieda Station and Shizuoka Airport take 30-45 minutes. ¥500

For those who drive, there are also two paid parking lots and three free parking lots for your convenience. All parking lots have a capacity of 2,000 vehicles.

Fujieda to Shizuoka Airport

For access to Shizuoka Airport, a direct bus service is available from the south exit of Fujieda Station.
